My work often combines micro-econometric methods (e.g., quasi-experimental designs) with novel theoretical mechanisms or quantitative structural models to design or evaluate economic policy.
I obtained my PhD in Economics from Harvard and joined the IMF since. I currently cover the USA and the BHS as a member of the Western Hemisphere Department. Previously, I was in the Macro-Financial Division of the Research Department.
